A Special Announcement to our Community & Beloved Patients

A letter from Dr Zierhut

After practicing orthodontics in this community for over 20 years, I have decided to announce my retirement. It has been my singular honor to be your orthodontist. In some cases, I have treated multiple generations of your family. Each of you has become a valued friend.

After a long and careful search, I have found the right orthodontists to take over my practice. Dr. Megan LeCornu and Dr. Pete Weber currently practice in Santa Clarita. They are caring, talented and compassionate professionals, who share my commitment to exemplary orthodontics. I am confident that you will continue to receive the highest quality of orthodontic care from Dr. LeCornu and Dr. Weber.  You can visit their website at embraceyoursmile.com for more information about the doctors or read below:

Dr. Megan LeCornu received her dental training at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. After graduating with honors, she went on to complete her residency at the prestigious University of North Carolina Orthodontic Program. While at UNC, she studied under leading experts in the field of orthodontics while being exposed to the latest in orthodontic technologies. She quickly distinguished herself as an excellent clinician while at UNC and she graduated with highest honors in the residency class.  Her research has been published in the most respected peer reviewed journals, both in orthodontics and oral maxillofacial surgery. After completing her residency, she continued her pursuit in excellence in clinical care by becoming Board-Certified in Orthodontics.

Megan and her husband, Chris, reside in Santa Clarita with their dog Teddy.  They enjoy being active in their community, and it is likely that you will see them involved in many of our local community projects. In addition, they enjoy going to movies and spending time outdoors.

Dr. Pete Weber was born and raised in Sarasota, Florida.  He attended the University of Florida and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering.  He also attended the University of Florida College of Dentistry where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and received multiple awards including recognition from the American Association of Orthodontists.  He then completed a three year residency in orthodontics and earned a Master of Science in Orthodontics at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, one of the most respected orthodontic programs in the world.  At UNC, he was honored to be the recipient of the Dr. D. Gregory Brooks and Andrew M. Brooks Fellowship.

Dr. Weber cherishes the time he spends with his wife and kids and their two dogs.  He and his wife have been very involved in their kids’ school and athletic activities and look forward to getting involved in our community.  They love spending time around kids and positively impacting their lives.  In his free time, Dr. Weber likes to play sports and loves to follow University of Florida Gator athletics and the Tampa Bay Bucs, Lightning, and Rays – however he is looking forward to rooting for our local teams!

These doctors share my belief in constantly striving for excellence in patient care, and because of common goal, I know you are in great hands.
